Applications are open for Miss Pole Dance Australia State Heats

May 1 - May 16

Miss Pole Dance Australia started at a tiny venue (Bourbon and Beefsteak) in Kings Cross and it was AMAZING, with pole dancing only a few years old in Australia, the talent was truly incredible.

Skip forward to today, where pole dancing has become a worldwide phenomenon and Miss Pole Dance Australia is the most prestigious title for any pole dancer to take out!

Victoria, QLD, WA, NSW, ACT and SA all hold their state heats and send their winner to the finals held in NSW at the Enmore Theatre.
A judging panel watches the video footage from each heat and chooses the rest of the finalists, the best of the best, to compete in the Australian finals.

Miss Pole Dance Australia is about the SHOWGIRL style of pole dancing, the razzle dazzle and sexy side. The opening number sets the scene each year with a stage full of talent and all choreographed by Chilli Rox – it’s ALWAYS amazing.

The 2019 competition – for the Miss Pole Dance Australia 2020 Title – was held at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday 2nd November and was won by Mischka, now our current reigning champion.

This year, all competitors will enter via the form below. Competitors applications will then be sent to their State Heat Organiser.

Please be sure to read the Rules and Regulations closely before applying. Dates and contact information for State Heat Organisers can be found at the bottom of the Rules and Regulations document.

South Australia, Victoria, and ACT will have Amateur Competitions this year. The rules and regulations can be found below. Eligibility is in line with the current Australian Pole Competition Guidelines, and is a Social Amateur competition.

Competitors may continue to enter the Amateur division until they win. The MPDSA/ACT/VIC Amateur division is considered a social level competition and placing should not affect entry into other social or graded competitions. Please note, all competitions have their own guidelines and eligibility criteria, please check with individual competitions for clarification.
